Christos Tsoukas is a Professor of Medicine and Experimental Medicine and Director of the Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology at McGill University. A pioneer in HIV research, he played an important role in blood product safety in the 1980s. His academic interests include the treatment and management of HIV, therapeutic vaccines, and chronic inflammation as it relates to aging. He has served on advisory boards for the World Federation of Hemophilia, Health Canada, the United States Food and Drug Administration and the National Institutes of Health. In 1999, Dr. Tsoukas was inducted into the Order of Canada.
