Remember your mountain holiday experiences as a child?  Reacquaint yourself with those simple pleasures at the Alpine Inn.  We are located just one mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway, on Hignway 226-A in Little Switzerland, NC.  Situated halfway between Boone and Asheville, The Alpine Inn clings to the side of Grassy Mountain, overlooking the Black Mountains in the Pisgah National Forest, directly located along the DiamondBack,
overlooking the foothills of Western North Carolina, within easy reach
of the towns of Spruce Pine and Marion.

Our rooms are of a traditional style, wood paneled, with windows and
balconies that open out to a view that stretches on for miles!  The rooms do not have televisions, but one look out of the
window at the ever changing natural scenery unfolding before your eyes
and you will see why you wouldn't switch it on even if it was
there!  All of our rooms are internet accessible though, and all are non-smoking rooms for your comfort.  Enjoy a balcony breakfast while taking in unsurpassed mountain vista views.

The Inn is a family owned and operated country inn that has served
the Blue Ridge Parkway for over 75 years, and we like to think we have
some of the most magnificent mountain views in the entire region!  We take pride in our Inn, because it is where we live too, and
