About Me


Greg Marchildon is Ontario Research Chair in Health Policy and System Design at the Institute of Health, Policy and Evaluation at the University of Toronto and Director of the North American Observatory on Health Systems and Policies. After obtaining his PhD at the London School of Economics, he taught for five years at Johns Hopkins University and then worked as a deputy minister in the Government of Saskatchewan. He was Executive Director of the Royal Commission on the Future of Health Care in Canada, also known as Romanow Commission (2001-02).
