Dr. Aaron Fenster is Director of the Imaging Research Laboratories at the Robarts Research Institute, Professor at The University of Western Ontario, and Director of the Centre for Imaging Technology Commercialization and Research. He is a medical physicist whose research focuses on the discovery, development and translation of advanced technological innovations to transform the manner in which disease is diagnosed and treated. He has pioneered and invented 3-dimensional ultrasound imaging systems for use in radiology, urology, and vascular imaging, with a number of successful technologies having been translated to clinical use and the private sector.
