Katie Cares is a non-profit organization which was founded by the late Kaitlyn Reimer. Her dream and vision was to give back to her community. Katie Cares provides Beanie Babies to children receiving medical care in Southern Manitoba, the organization also provides, blankets to expectant moms, paliative patients. Katie Cares has a cottage directly east of the Boundary Trails Hospital which provides a home away from home to all Manitobans who have a loved one in our local personal care homes and our regional hospital.
