Jean Blanc is an active member of the Suzuki Association of Americas (SAA). Jean received his diploma in music from the University of Bucharest; Romania; specializing in violin instruction and performance. He completed the Suzuki teacher's training at the Suzuki Institute in Kinston; Ontario completing all ten volumes of Suzuki Violin Training. Mr. Blanc is an affiliate teacher with the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.

Prior to moving to Canada in 1954; Jean earned a B.A Honours in Russian Language and Literature from the University of London; School of Slavonic Studies; and was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain for three years.
