Let's Talk About Credit

First Heritage Federal Credit Union

Presenter: Christine Iles, Business Development Officer & Cory Eddy, Business Development Officer

This seminar will assist individuals interested in becoming more educated on the basics of understanding their credit. The seminar will cover topics such as the advantages/disadvantages of credit, the Four Cs of Credit, and understanding your credit report.  We will also discuss lending and the right questions to ask before you borrow money.

About the Presenters:

Christine Iles is the Business Development Officer for First Heritage Federal Credit Union where she has worked for the past four years.  Prior to accepting this position, she was the Branch Manager at our Heights location.  As the Business Development Officer,
Christine works to build relationships with our existing business members as well as potential new members.  She has worked in the banking industry for the past fourteen years.  Christine serves on the Leadership Chemung Committee and the Member Services Council for the Chemung Chamber of Commerce and is a past board member with the Friends of the River Chemung Watershed.  She and her family moved to Elmira ten years ago and love living here because the area is rich in history and has a strong sense of community. During her downtime, she enjoys spending time with
family, watercolor painting and all things creative.

Cory Eddy recently joined the First Heritage Federal Credit Union team as a Business Development Officer.  As the Business
Development Officer, Cory works as part of a team to build relationships with our existing business members, as well as potential new members throughout 11 counties.  Throughout his 18 years in the financial industry, he has worked primarily in the retail branch environment; starting as teller and became an experienced loan officer, branch manager, and a business products and services specialist. He has served on multiple boards within the greater Corning Area. He has served with the Corning YMCA, Corning
Area Chamber of Commerce, and Corning Area Young Professionals. He also frequently volunteers with local organizations such as the Corning Meals on Wheels and the Food Bank of the Southern Tier. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his wife and 20-month-old son.
