He completed his Ph.D. at the University of British Columbia, and taught for several years in Education and Women's/Trans/Queer Studies. As Principal Consultant of Heart Story Consulting, he supports schools, higher ed institutions, and non-profits, in creating spaces that honor diversity, with a particular focus on the work of celebrating gender diversity.
