This workshop will be recorded and, baring no technical difficulties, distributed to all workshop registrants following the course.
Prerequisites:
It's optimal for workshop participants to have attended Linda's Addressing & Avoiding Foot Pain Conference presentation which sets the stage for this workshop. A basic understanding of foot terminology & anatomy is also ideal (though some review will be provided). Attendees should bring a tennis ball to the workshop, if possible, as well as a pair of shoes with original insert (not an after-market insert) and any backless shoes they might have such as flip flops or mules. If attendees would like to follow along in real time with hands-on techniques, they might have a massage table available as well as a friend or family member with whom they can work from approximately 11-11:20am CT (video of these techniques will be available post-workshop).
Description:
Through a PowerPoint presentation, videos, discussion, and hands-on techniques we'll delve deeper into foot pain and its remediation and prevention. We'll also experiment with a variety of locations for foot and leg reflexes.
An extensive resource sheet will be provided to all workshop participants.
