The Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce (AVCC) is asking the business community for nominations in seven separate categories: New Business of the Year, Micro Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, Exporter of the Year, Innovator of the Year and the Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Advancement Award. As in the past, we ask that you give us a nomination "suggestion". We will then contact the suggested nominee to confirm their eligibility and ensure that they are willing to accept the nomination. AVCC provides the list of confirmed nominees to the Head Judge, who will contact the accepted nominees directly to provide them with a more detailed judging questionnaire. The nominees submit their completed information package directly to the Head Judge. The Chamber is not part of the judging process. The Chamber Executive and Directors have no influence on the outcome of the judging process. As for those in attendance, we do not know who the winners are until the envelopes are opened on Awards night.
Nominations close Friday, April 29th at noon.
