A 3 hour online workshop with Dr Marthinus Bekker (NZ)

Risk assessment is a core part of our daily clinical work and yet it remains one of the most uncertain. And at times the anxiety this raises in us as clinicians can drive ineffective risk mitigating behaviour rather than effective interventions to help clients achieve a life worth living for. This workshop leans heavily on my DBT background and will provide a summary of what we know about suicide and self-harm in New Zealand today, explore the risk factors we should look out for briefly, and discuss formulating risk rather than trying to classify it

(This session will be recorded for all those who are registered but can't make it on the day)
