LAJOC's Family Fun Weekend is back for another year, and we're planning to get the event back up and running after having a couple years away due to Covid. The relaxed itinerary for the weekend is to have a campfire on Friday night for the early arrivals, followed by an 8:30 am meet on Saturday to split into groups, go over some basic reminders and head off to the trails.

The club will be putting on a chicken and salad dinner Saturday night for the memebers signed up.

In the spirit of making sure that everyone has the best time possible, we're asking for a few considerations:

IF YOU THINK OF A TRAIL THAT YOU'D BE WILLING TO LEAD - Please Volunteer! We'd like to try and keep our groups limited to 8 to 10 jeeps per trail in the spirit of treading lightly and everyone having the best possible experience on the trail. We know not everyone is familiar with the public trail system, but if you are, some help with the logistics of this event would be greatly appreciated! If there's a trail that you'd like to wheel of suggest, please do! We can't think of everything, so don't be shy!

THIS IS A MEMBERS EVENT BUT GUESTS ARE WELCOME!!!
The club by-laws encourage non-members to join us at club events, but for insurance purposes a heads up in mandatory for non-members. Also for people who are not club members (bringing their jeeps), we'd ask for a $20 fee (per non member vehicle) to cover a liability insurance contribution. If someone decided to sign up for LAJOC at the event, the $20 will be waived in lieu of paying for a $50 membership fee. Non-members can be signed up by sending an email to membership@londonjeepclub.org

Minden off-road park offers motel rooms, campers and camp-sites on a first come first served basis, you'll be responsible for securing your own accommodations. The grounds boast BBQs, campfires (wood can be purchased onsite), an in ground pool, camping hook ups and bathroom facilities for campers. Your furry four legged family members are also welcome at Ray's Place so you can't use them as an excuse not to join us!
