Members who wish to take the CTTIC translation exam are invited to register for eight weekly workshops starting on February 21, 2024 (Wednesdays 6:30- 8:00 p.m.) and ending on April 10, 2024. The workshops are designed for those interested in taking the certification exam from any foreign language into English. Participants will be guided to find their own suitable texts, and the instructor will provide some ideas on how to use self-correction tools and discuss common language issues during the 2-hour period webinars. There will be time for questions as well. As a multilingual workshop, please note that this workshop is focused on the correct use of English only.A practice exam in the language combination of the participant's choice is included in the price of this workshop. With Silvia Xalabarde, an experienced translator and interpreter who is also the president of STIBC and is very familiar with the exam process.Minimum number of associate members to run the webinars: 8.
