About the webinar:This 90-minute interactive webinar is for translators and community interpreters interested in learning more about gender-neutral, gender-inclusive and gender-affirming strategies for translating from English into French. Anyone with an interest in mental health, social justice, and the impact of the BC Human Rights framework on language policies in BC will benefit from this webinar. Through JamBoard, Breakout Rooms and Mentimeter, we will collaboratively map out our strategies for meeting the needs of all of our clients, and explore short translation exercises to put our knowledge to work. While the presenter will use French, participants are welcome to express themselves in French, English, or a mixture of both. This is an online Webinar via Zoom.
