CCW Virtual Site TourUBC Arts Student CentreThursday, July 29th, 5:30 pmWe are excited to announce that we will be hosting a virtual site tour at the UBC Arts Student Centre project built by Turner Construction. The UBC Arts Student Centre is a 3 level, 10,000 sqft building meant for the Arts Undergraduate Society. It's designed with a range of activity spaces and amenities to support creative engagement including media production videoconference, graphics production spaces as well as a student-run art gallery. The original space was meant to be a rectangular building, but through the design process was changed to be a circle to be the centerpiece on the south side of the campus. The building also features a passive heating and cooling system that operates off an automatically controlled window venting system.Our tour guide is Chris Ng, he is a project manager that started with Turner Construction in 2018. During that time, Chris has worked on a variety of projects with clients in the tech, banking and entertainment industries. The UBC Arts Student Centre is Chris' first core and shell project and has provided a great opportunity to gain experience in this field.We look forward to seeing you all! * Event registrants will be contacted with video conference details*Please note: Due to the high demand of our events and the necessity to confirm numbers with the venue, we require a minimum of 3 business days should you need to cancel in order to offer a refund. **Tickets are non-transferable without prior notification a minimum of 3 business days before the event.
