2021 CCW Summer Social Virtual Cooking ClassTuesday, July 6th, 5:30 pmWe are excited to announce that we will be hosting a virtual cooking class for the 2021 summer social! We have partnered with Well Seasoned: A Gourmet Food Store and will be inviting you all to get your pan ready to stir up some fun. Our featured Chef is Angie Quaale, who is a regular guest Chef with cooking segments on Global BC and CTV Vancouver, she is a contributing culinary expert on CBC and for Black Press BC. Angie can be seen doing cooking demos and events at various trade shows throughout the region. She is a champion for ALL things local. Before opening Well Seasoned, Angie enjoyed a successful career in the food service sector specifically working for manufacturers on specialty food distribution and menu development throughout North America. Angie is very connected to food trends and takes tremendous pride in her ability to teach home cooks to make better food at home. Her fun, commonsensical approach, passion for reducing food waste and working with as many local, seasonal ingredients as possible is just part of what makes Angie's cooking style relatable.Angie will be teaching us how to cook a beautiful lemon asparagus risotto with a salad of seasonal greens and maple sherry vinaigrette (protein is optional). They will also be providing a pre-made dessert and a white wine sangria kit, all you have to do is bring the wine!
