CCW Site Tour - Legacy on Park Avenue
Join us for a bonus site tour of the Legacy on Park Avenue project in Langley on Tuesday, May 14th!
Langley, B.C. is set to become the home of the Fraser Valley's first ever residential mass timber development. Legacy on Park Avenue marks the very first six storey mid-rise project in the Fraser Valley that uses mass timber in the form of Cross Laminated Timber (CLT). The Canadian Wood Council has confirmed this is also the very first application in Canada for a CLT Firewall.

- Project Construction Start Date: Feb 1 2018
- Projected Completion Date: May 2020
- 6 Storey Mid-rise
- 69 Units Ranging from 1200 - 1700 sq ft
- 2 Side by Side Elevators
- 5 Corners of Curtain Wall
Please note: Full personal protective equipment, including CSA approved safety boots, hard hat and high visibility vest are required in order to attend the tour. Anyone not in possession of these items will not be permitted to walk the site.
Agenda:
5.30pm - 6pm – Registration on site. The site office address: 20416 Park Avenue, Langley. PLEASE NOTE: There is street parking along park avenue, the project also has 2 large gravel parking lots directly across the street from the building.
6pm – 6.10pm – Safety orientation and project introduction at the site office.
6.10pm – 7pm – Site tour
7.00pm – 8.30pm – Dinner at Poseidon Greek Restaurant, 20795 Fraser Hwy, Langley City, BC V3A 4G4. PLEASE NOTE: The restaurant is 3 minute drive, 10 minute walk from the site tour location.
