The biggest changes are related to energy efficiency and some Cities have adopted the Step Code whereas others have either created their own targets or are sticking with the Building Code. Ping Pang, Director, BTY

Ping is a director at BTY with over 15 years of experience providing cost consulting services. Her primary focus is assessing complex mechanical and electrical systems and preparing cost estimates for new and redeveloped construction projects. She also brings expertise in sustainable design, life-cycle cost analysis, value engineering, tender evaluation, and change order review. Ping's portfolio of work includes mandates in the healthcare, infrastructure, commercial, residential  education, wastewater, transportation and recreation sectors. She is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors a Professional Quantity Surveyor under the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Management and Economics from the University of South Australia and holds various certifications from the Tunku Abdul Rahman College in Malaysia.
