For the 2021 Awards of Excellence, we have created a plan that while we hope is highly engaging is also quite resilient to changing restrictions (and not in danger of being rained out)! Our goal is, as always, to recognize our nominees, sponsors, and winners to the best of our ability, with a reach that extends to the far corners of the CW community and beyond.

From June 14-18, 2021, we will go Live on Location each day at 1pm. We will broadcast live from a sponsor's location and present three awards per day. See schedule below! These broadcasts will be aired on Facebook Live, and available to watch afterwards on our website.

MONDAY JUNE 14 - Location Host: Ecclestone Financial Group Inc.

  • Customer Service Excellence [sponsored by Baker Tilly]
  • Tradesperson of the Year [sponsored by Wightman]
  • Long Service Awards [sponsored by Zehrs]

TUESDAY JUNE 15 - Location Host: The Wild Tart

WEDNESDAY JUNE 16 - Location Host: McDonalds

THURSDAY JUNE 17 - Location Host: Grand River Agricultural Society

FRIDAY JUNE 18 - Location Host: Skyline Group of Companies

This week long celebration would not be complete without a Celebration Box, made up of curated items from the local community. Sponsors and nominees will receive complimentary Celebration Boxes. A limited number of additional Celebration Boxes are available to purchase below. [big thanks to our Celebration Box Sponsor RLB Chartered Professional Accountants, as well as Celebration Box contributors: Ambiances Gourmandes, Belwood Country Market, The Brew House on the Grand, Elora Distilling Company, Fancy That Cake, Fergie's Fine Foods, Fergus Educational Services, Grand River Agricultural Society, and more!]

The very best memories of past Awards of Excellence events often revolve around the food, and we haven't forgotten that! Local restaurants will be invited to participate by offering an #AOE2021 special for the week.  Nominees and sponsors can perhaps order lunch for their team while they tune in, or maybe winners will enjoy takeout dinner with their family to celebrate. Stay tuned as we confirm these details!
