What are dapaanz Communities?
In our 2021 Member Survey, members requested more opportunities to build connections with others working in similar areas of the sector, to facilitate the sharing of learning, experiences, and challenges. Dapaanz Communities has been created from this feedback – a forum for members to come together to share with, and learn from, each other.
Participation in a dapaanz Communities session will earn you five CPD points.
How do the sessions run?
Dapaanz Communities sessions are run on Zoom. There is a facilitator for each session, who will help to guide the discussion.
Please feel free to contact us at connect@dapaanz.org.nz if you have suggestions for anything you would like the Community to discuss in this session.
A reminder that dapaanz Communities events are facilitated hui for members to share their experiences and learn from each other, rather than a workshop delivered by a trainer.
Cynthia Khan joins us as facilitator for this hui. Cynthia is a registered practitioner and supervisor with over 10 years experience in the NGO and public sector. She is passionate about growing the addiction workforce and supporting practitioners who are starting out in the sector. Cynthia is based in Wellington, where she lives with her husband and two cats.
Please note that numbers for this session will be capped to ensure that everyone present has a chance to participate, and the session will not be recorded.
