2024 BC DAY

Join us to hear representatives from both  Ministry of Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Innovation and the BC Energy Regulator

CSEE presents BC Day 2024

Join us on May 31 for this year's BC Day and hear from the BC Energy Regulator (BCER) and the BC Ministry of Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Innovation (EMLI)!
Presentations will cover a wide range of important topics. During the morning session, EMLI and BCER will give Energy Resource Activities Act (ERAA) implementation and permitting progress updates, including discussion of the Blueberry River First Nations Implementation Agreement and Treaty 8 Consensus Agreement.
The provided lunch will include a moderated interview - last year saw EMLI Deputy Minister Shannon Baskerville and we are hopeful to secure her time once again. The afternoon session will cover the new royalty framework and production outlook, and a regulatory and legislative update which will touch on water and drought management planning, methane reduction efforts, and potential upcoming legislative initiatives.
