Mona Lemoine, Associate, Senior Sustainability Consultant, Dialog
Mona is a licensed architect with more than twenty-three years of experience in the built environment. Her work addresses the urgencies of climate change by offering design solutions that weave together resilience, equity, health, and biodiversity considerations. As part of these efforts, Mona remains focused on designing and building projects that are enabled to draw down carbon emissions—rather than contribute to them—through material performance, circular economy, and regenerative design and development. In combining big-picture systems thinking with attention to detail, Mona works together with clients to craft a carbon impact vision, fit with both ambitious and achievable goals that support their ideal outcomes for the project.

Sara Turner, Sustainability Manager, Nexii/Omicron
Leveraging a strong background in engineering and green building design, Sara is a sustainability leader working to decarbonize product design and manufacturing. At Nexii, she leads carbon accounting, zero waste projects, and product life-cycle strategy. She is also currently serving as the Chair of the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisory Council. Sara studied Environmental Engineering at the University of Waterloo, where her passion for intersectional sustainability was fueled by her experience leading innovative sustainable housing projects in partnership with Canadian Indigenous communities and Habitat for Humanity.

Heidi Nesbitt, Architect AIBC, Principal, Human Studio
Heidi is a Principal at Human Studio Architecture + Urban Design and has 20 years of experience in sustainable, community-focused architecture. She is a highly accomplished technical architect and an expert on code, policy, and green rating systems such as LEED, Envision, and Passive House. Her commitment to Regenerative Design has shaped how the office approaches their work, ensuring every project looks holistically at the potential to create climate change solutions – the health and happiness of Human Studio team members included. Heidi's extensive experience in sustainable building design has been key to their most recent, successful Passive House projects. Heidi has been a trusted sustainability advisor to the Government of Canada, Metro Vancouver, the City of Vancouver, and the Canada Green Building Council.

Mary On, Associate, Introba (Integral Group)
Mary brings over fifteen years of experience to the Introba team. Her technical expertise and strong attention to detail make her well-versed in all aspects of the design process, where she is involved from concept design through to completion. With extensive experience in laboratories and institutional building design, Mary has a strong focus on lab projects including chemistry, biosafety containment and forensic labs.

Natalie Telewiak, Architect AIBC, Principal, MGA
With an education in both architecture and engineering, Natalie's approach to design is rooted in material logic, collaboration, and connection. As a Principal at MGA since 2018, she leads and inspires her team to deliver elegant solutions that marry structure, systems, manufacturing, and architecture. Natalie focuses on the potential for design to foster community, enhance health and well-being, and connect us back to nature by creating projects that are meaningful, innovative, and more sustainable.

Sydney Wanchulak, Impact & Sustainability Manager, NorLand Limited
Working in the construction industry for 8 years and as a sustainability professional for the past 5 years, Sydney has developed skills in project management, strategy planning, B Corp certification, and implementing sustainable business practices. Sydney's background is in Construction Management, and she grew her knowledge in the sustainability sector through hands-on learning, experience, research, and mentorship. Sydney believes developing sustainable organizations is the key to our future success, that we have no home on a dying planet, and the best way forward is together.
