Join us for our Winter '26 HVAC JM Test Prep Class at Ferguson's Fenton Supply Store. The first three sessions will cover all of the books and on the fourth night, each student will take a practice HVAC test. 

Total Cost: 

$275 per student for members, $600 for non-members. This cost includes dinner and snacks each night, as well as a copy of the county code!

Additional $300 fee to rent a set of books from Gateway. These are LIMITED, and several books are out of print, so please don't wait to reserve one!

• FOR THOSE RENTING BOOKS: You will receive the hard copies of the 3 smaller books, and bindered copies of the 3 large ones during class. Each page has been hand copied. When your test is scheduled, you need to let Gateway know, and we will coordinate a time to pick up the hard copies of the large books from our office on The Hill.
• If you are not renting books, the book list is on page 7 of this link. Many are out of print. 
• Gateway recommends the Commercial HVAC test, and you MUST apply for the Commercial license instead of Residential HVAC on the county's portal website if that's what you prefer.
• NOTE: There is a $75 non-refundable fee in the case of a cancellation for the room fee. Although this is unlikely, we want to be forthright.
