GD2 Firsts is our opportunity to showcase new classes or events. These are held approximately one per month, and can be classes taught by new presenters, experienced presenters teaching new material or new partnerships or activities making their debut at GD2. Open to anyone 18+.

ABOUT FULL EXPOSURE: A KINK-CENTERED OPEN MIC EVENT

Do you have some kinky poetry that’s a little too spicy for your average open mic? Do you have a really great rendition of The Masochism Tango? Bring them to Full Exposure, an open mic night for kink-positive music, poetry, comedy, storytelling, sideshow, and other performances! This event is open to non-members so nudity is not allowed, unfortunately. 

Participants may sign up for seven minute long performance slots at the start of the event. Please give any relevant content warnings at the beginning of your set in case audience members may need to “change the channel”. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and general bigotry will not be tolerated.

We will have a house guitar available for your use, just please treat it gently! 

As per usual GD2 rules, NO cell phones, photography, or videography are allowed at this open mic, but consider this an opportunity to try out your fresh, experimental material for an intimate and like-minded audience. That said, if you need lyrics or notes for your performance, please remember to write or print them out prior to arrival.

ABOUT THE EMCEE

Hermes (FL: HermesAphroditus, he/ze) is a stand-up comedian, a singer-songwriter, and a consummate exhibitionist. He is excited to facilitate a kinky performance space at GD2, as all the world’s a stage, including the dungeon.
