For Allergy and Asthma Awareness Month, this discussion will focus on kinky people with allergies and/or asthma. Latex, natural fiber ropes, perfumes, or food play might become hazards rather than a fun expression in shared spaces. Asthma might show up mid-scene, unexpectedly taking you to your knees after rigorous activity. Mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) might suddenly pop up, and your body becomes allergic to something you've loved for years. How do you navigate the kink scene when in shared spaces? How do you talk to others about these access needs? How do your experiences interact with kinky life? We will discuss all of this and more in this month's discussion.
