ABOUT YOU'LL KNOW IT WHEN YOU SEE IT - OBSCENITY LAW AND YOU

Thanks to the internet and cheap digital recording technology, all of us can create and distribute adult materials – anything from occasionally posting pictures of our bruises to making a full time living generating content. It is sometimes easy to forget that criminal obscenity laws persist, but unfortunately some politicians seem determined to remind us that they do. This class focuses on the First Amendment, federal obscenity law, and how they might impact us and our community.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Aaron (FL: Reginod) is a licensed attorney who has been practicing law for over 15 years and practicing BDSM and ethical non-monogamy for 25. An active participant in the kink and ENM community, he has helped run munches, organize educational events, and host play parties. While he doesn't identify as Leather, he does currently serve as a Board member of and as Treasurer for the Leather Leadership Conference. (Find LLC at https://www.leatherleadership.net/). As a kink educator he has been happy to be able to combine his vocation and avocation, teaching classes that primarily focus on the various places the law intersects with the world of BDSM.
