2011 Public Officials Reception

Business and community leaders and federal, state and local public officials came together December 2 for the inaugural Amelia Island-Fernandina Beach-Yulee Chamber of Commerce Public Officials Reception.

Reception attendees networked in a relaxed social atmosphere at beautiful White Oak Plantation, one of the premiere wildlife breeding and research facilities in the world.

The reception was sponsored by Rayonier and Edward Jones Investments.

“Rayonier was pleased to be part of this event designed simply to thank our public officials for all they do to make Nassau County a better place to live and work,” said Rayonier Director of External Affairs Michael M. Bell. “While we’re all too familiar with the challenging economic environment facing the business community, we have so much to be grateful for this holiday season. And among those things we’re grateful for are our elected officials who are helping our communities manage through these difficult times in a way that positions us for greater stability and prosperity in the future.”
