Renee is a writer and producer. She and her husband, Greg Berger, are partners in BergerFilms. Two of her short film projects are on the film festival circuit in 2021-2022 with one winning two festival awards (Audience Choice, Best Sound Editing). After 23 years as a non-profit executive specializing in advocacy communications and public relations, I am now shifting my focus and time to filmmaking. I hold a Master's from AU in Media and Film and have produced several short films while at AU including one that was broadcast on Maryland Public Television and recognized with a regional Emmy. Most recently, I have helped program and deliver the Alexandria Film Festival as its vice chair in collaboration with founder Patti North and the festival's chair.
