Description: To extend the experience of Denver Botanic Gardens beyond the boundaries of the capital city, the Gardens operates three additional sites: Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield (an affiliate of the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center), the M. Walter Pesman Trail on Mount Goliath and Centennial Gardens in downtown Denver. At Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield, a 750-acre native plant and wildlife refuge in Littleton, visitors can discover several distinct ecosystems, as well as two historical 19th century farms. The preserve provides a valuable environment for education, plant research and conservation efforts, as well as nature walks and bird watching. Plus, the Pumpkin Festival and two-month long Corn Maze make the preserve a key destination for annual family fun. Visit us at www.botanicgardens.org or call 720-865-3500 for more information. Denver Botanic Gardens thanks the citizens who support the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District.
